Energy, Resources and Sustainability
UCL maintains a range of longstanding relationships with global energy and resources companies, including Shell, BP, BHP-Billiton, Centrica, TNK-BP, providing technical, environmental, legal, geopolitical and cultural expertise and research.
Tailored research and consultancy relationships with energy companies are often under confidentiality agreements.
UCL also works with companies on student recruitment, Continuing Professional Development, Executive Training, Masters Programmes, Distance Learning and Intercultural Awareness. A regular international energy summer school, in collaboration with Siberian Federal University (SFU) and Texas University, and funded by the British Council BRIDGE programme, provides an opportunity for company executives to make industry presentations and to engage with students from Europe, Russia and the US.
