UCL Technology Fund Holds 2018 Showcase Event

 

On Thursday 3^rd May, the UCL Technology Fund hosted a showcase event, in celebration of the first two years of the £50 million fund.

Co-managed by UCLB and Albion Capital, the UCL Technology Fund has already invested in a number of exciting technologies and innovations arising from UCL’s knowledge base. The backdrop of London’s Digital Catapult provided an opportunity to share the journeys of just some of the inspiring spinouts who have received support from the fund.

Split into two sessions, the evening featured case studies from both physical and life sciences, with the academics behind the spinouts, providing a snapshot of their journeys so far. UCL Institute of Child Health spinout, Orchard Therapeutics and MediaGamma, a UCL Computer Science Spinout, were among those who presented their experiences.
