Echopoint wins Innovators Award

Congratulations to UCL spinout Echopoint who received the Innovators Award at last night’s UCL Awards for Innovation & Enterprise 2019.
Adrien Desjardins and Malcolm Finlay and the UCL academic team, were joined by experienced medical technology entrepreneur Anthony Odell last year. The team are developing a family of optical-fibre based sensors which integrate into medical innovative devices, bringing unparalleled sensing modalities to minimally-invasive procedures.
The innovators award recognises a researcher or research team whose work has shown a firm commitment to commercialisation, with a view to making true impact on society.
