TenU Events and Communications Coordinator - Cambridge Enterprise
Application deadline: 4 July 2021
Cambridge Enterprise is a member of a collaboration of Universities working across the UK, EU, and the US, called TenU. This group of Research Commercialisation experts work together and with UK and US governments, to debate and develop best practice, and to provide longer term insights that can be used to inform policy and develop effective practices across the ten universities and the sector. TenU is funded by Research England.
Cambridge Enterprise is hosting the TenU project team, currently made up of one Policy Advisor, and is now recruiting for a second member of the team: the TenU Events and Communications Coordinator.
This role has been created to support the Policy Advisor in delivering three programmes and related communication strategies: the TenU Hosts series (a series of events offering leading practitioners the opportunity to hold topical conversations in research commercialisation); the TenU Future Leaders Programme (an international exchange programme to train future leaders); and the dissemination of latest developments on changing focus areas.
This role will lead the event management for the programmes, to include the planning and delivery of 4-5 remote events per year, including scheduling, arranging logistics, technical setup and facilitating the delivery. Events are currently taking place online so confidence in digital events is a must, with the expectation of planning in-person meetings in the future.
The communications aspect of the role will include promotion via social media, maintaining a website, and the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns with support from the Policy Advisor.
