I/O Lab Coffee Club: An academic entrepreneur’s journey to create novel drug delivery technologies
Join us for an informal, interactive chat with Professor Andreas Schätzlein about his journey from academia to running UCL School of Pharmacy spinout company, Nanomerics.
Andreas will offer insights around overcoming commercialisation challenges, seizing opportunities, and some unexpected learnings he had along his entrepreneurial journey.
This talk is brought to you by I/O Lab Coffee Club, a networking event for academics to informally discuss topics relevant to research commercialisation with UCLB and UCL Technology Fund.
The rationale for launching these sessions is to encourage academics, new to the idea of research commercialisation to come and ask us (UCL Business and UCL Technology Fund) questions and hopefully be inspired to look for opportunities for market impact from their own research portfolios.
These sessions are not intended for PhD students and are open to academics and research staff/fellows only. This includes associate staff holding honorary contracts with UCL.
