Join Louise Francis, from UCL's Department of Geography and Ana Lemmo Charnalia, UCLB Senior Business Manager as they discuss how Louise's research in environmental science took her on an exciting journey which is delivering real impact in communities across the UK.

As many communities strive to find solutions to challenges around including accessibility, community cohesion, sustainability, and social housing - could the power of participatory mapping help generate positive social change?

This talk is brought to you by I/O Lab Coffee Club, a networking event for academics to informally discuss topics relevant to research commercialisation with UCLB and UCL Technology Fund.

The rationale for launching these sessions is to encourage academics, new to the idea of research commercialisation to come and ask us (UCL Business and UCL Technology Fund) questions and hopefully be inspired to look for opportunities for market impact from their own research portfolios.

These sessions are not intended for PhD students and are open to academics and research staff/fellows only.
