Alberto is a Business Manager working across the biomedical science portfolio. He has a PhD in molecular cell biology from UCL’s Institute of Ophthalmology and research experience from Yale University and the Francis Crick Institute. Before joining UCLB, Alberto was a full-time scientist and a LifeArc-AUTM Technology Transfer Fellow. His scientific background is neuroscience, neuroimmunology, cell biology, cell division and cancer. He has extensive experience in bioinformatics, biophysics, molecular biology, genome editing, structural biology, imaging, electron microscopy, and NMR.
