UCL Innovation Scout

Are you a postdoc interested in innovative technologies and commercialisation?

What is a UCL Innovation Scout?

Innovation Scouts are well connected individuals within UCL departments/research institutes with an eye for finding research which has commercial potential that may not be on the radar of UCLB. If you can help identify early career researchers whose work shows commercialisation promise, but who are perhaps not aware of UCLB and its activities, then get in touch.

Who can apply?
Post-doc researchers within the Institute of Neurology Department of Clinical and Movement Neurosciences, who have an interest in learning more about IP commercialisation and wider knowledge exchange areas.
The role suits individuals looking to develop their IP knowledge to augment their existing research responsibilities and expertise. UCLB will provide flexible training to familiarise the Innovation Scouts with the core principles of IP and technology transfer.
