I/O Lab is a programme specifically designed for UCL academics interested in understanding how to assess the potential of their research in a commercialisation context. I/O Lab runs once a year and is delivered over two months (via in-person weekly sessions) by UCL Business together with the UCL Technology Fund. Although there is a focus on assessing suitability of ideas and technologies for spinout creation, the programme also introduces other pathways for commercial impact such as licensing.
