Episode 1: Overview of UCLB
- Open to all
In this new podcast series, 'UCLB - Big Talks on Big Impacts' we hear from the people who have worked with UCLB to commercialise their UCL research, and the impact they have created.
From chronic diseases and the climate crisis, to social injustice, how are we tackling the biggest problems of the 21st century? As UCL Business (UCLB) celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2023, our monthly podcast series ‘Big Talks on Big Impacts’ explores how we have supported UCL academics to create impact across areas such as: medical research, patient healthcare, the environment, and our wellbeing in a contemporary society.
New episodes will be released every third Thursday of each month.
In the very first podcast episode, Dr Anne Lane, CEO of UCL Business (UCLB), speaks to Professor Geraint Rees, Vice-Provost of UCL (Research, Innovation & Global Engagement) about what UCLB does, its unique role in UCL, and their future plans to help UCL academics create impact across society.
Soundtrack by Harry Penfold and Thomas Shearwood.
